The Comedy Project’s Training Center Program provides training in Improvisation, Comedy Writing, and Comedy Performance.  We welcome individuals who are looking to try something new to those who would like to develop their existing comedic skills further.

Our core classes last from six to eight weeks and meet once a week. After successfully completing a course, students are eligible to move on to the next level where they continue to advance their skills. There are four levels of improvisation and four levels of sketch comedy writing. There are two levels of comedy performance. The next set of core classes will begin virtually in January 2021. Class schedules will be posted the first week of December.

We also offer elective classes and workshops that focus on specific skills. Past electives have included Stand Up 101, Character Exploration, and Finding the Game of the Scene. These classes can vary from a few hours to multi-week sessions.

We will be hosting short, virtual drop-ins for the remaining of the 2020 year. These sessions are open to all skill levels and advanced registration is encouraged to hold your spot. Please click on the dates listed below to learn more about these offerings.
