NED Talks 10th Anniversary Show & Tribute to Ryan Lathrop

On July 31st, at 8pm, The Comedy Project will donate its stage and proceeds for a special tribute and fundraising show for Ryan Lathrop.
The show is a satirical take on the popular TEDTalk series, featuring stand-up comics, improvisers, and local performers sharing their presentations on various topics. Come see stand-up comics, improvisers, and other local performers and friends of Ryan share their presentations, aided by slideshows on topics that would make him proud. Past shows featured discussions on depression, Taylor Swift, declaring bankruptcy, ska, party planning, government conspiracies, flirting, mustaches and how your roommate Steve is secretly a terrible person; the possibilities are endless, and who knows what our talented performers will come up with this time around?
“The NED Talks 10th Anniversary Show: A Tribute to Ryan Lathrop”, will be held to celebrate the life and legacy of Ryan Lathrop, a local comedian who recently passed, way too soon. Proceeds will go toward supporting Ryan’s family, as well as a local non-profit venue, Dog Story Theater. The event will also feature a special cocktail inspired by Ryan’s love of themed drinks. Tickets are available online, and remote donations can be made as well. The event aims to pay tribute to Ryan’s creative spirit and continue his legacy through laughter and creativity.
