Description

Description: In this 6 week course you’ll learn the basics of writing sketch comedy. Topics we will cover include comedic idea generation, sketch structure, comedy mapping, comedic characters, and developing a comedic point of view. By the end of the term you will have scripts ready to be performed! Please note: there will be weekly homework assignments.

When: Sundays 6-8pm: Jan 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, Feb 7

Min/Max people per class: 5 people to hold the class, a maximum of 9 people permitted

Required Technology: Zoom and access to Google Drive. We will be sharing our scripts through google docs and learning will take place in real-time through Zoom. The link to the zoom classroom will be sent closer to the start date to the e-mail you used to register.
