Teen Comedy Boot Camp is a four day program for TEENS 13-17,

M, T, W, Th, 1:30-4:30pm

This comedy boot camp will allow students to dabble in standup, sketch and improv comedy and will finish with a showcase on The Comedy Project stage! There will also be an optional showcase opportunity the following Monday at the Comedy Outlet Mondays show at The Comedy Project at 7pm. 

Lead by professional performers and teachers, students spend each session rotating through different comedy blocks while finding their own comedic voice. 

Limited to only 12 students, ages 13-17

M, T, W, Th, 1:30-4:30pm, includes a snack each day (but not lunch)

Showcase on Thursday at 4pm for family and friends!

Camp Curriculum

Improvisation: Explore what can happen in unscripted theater! During the improvisation block, students will practice improv games that help them think on their feet, build confidence, and let their unique personality shine. There will be lots of laughs along the way as we make things up on the spot! 

Story-Telling, Stand Up and Comedy Writing: Everyone has a story to tell and we want to hear yours! In this block, students will learn ways to develop their own comedic style and share what they think is funny about the world through guided writing and story-telling activities. 

Comedy Acting and Performance Skills: Students will work on their comedic timing and develop stage presence in this block. Through theater games and working with scripts, campers get a taste for the stage!

Camp comes to an exciting conclusion with a performance for friends and family showcasing their new comedy skills!
